How to join our family of disciples
Why join one church?
Did you know that Jesus didn't die just to redeem us as individuals? He also died to gather us together into a new spiritual family -- the Church. In fact, the entire New Testament was written to and for local churches -- specific groups of people who knew one another, cared for one another, and followed Christ together. This is why the pages of the New Testament are filled with so many "one another" commands:
Love one another. Forgive one another. Bear one another's burdens.
At Redemption, membership helps us put real names and faces to these "one another" commands. God has clearly designed the Christian life to be lived within a specific local church family. Membership is how we say: I'm a part of this family.
God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

How do I join?
First and foremost, it's important that any potential member is a fully committed follower of Jesus Christ -- trusting in him alone for salvation and eager to follow him in all of life.
